Blueprint Reality Inc. and its affiliates (“Blueprint Reality”, “us”, “our” or “we”) are dedicated to protecting the privacy rights of our users (“users” or “you”) and we have devised this privacy policy (“Policy”) so you are informed about the collection, use, limited disclosure, and protection of any information that you share with us.

This Policy describes the ways we collect, store, use, and manage the information, including personal information, that you provide or we collect in connection with our websites, including https://blueprintreality.com, https://blueprinttools.com (the “Sites”) or any Blueprint Reality game provided on any platform, including without limitation, Awaken (collectively, the “Services”). Defined terms designated in the Terms shall have the same definitions in this Privacy Policy.

By using the Services, you are expressing your agreement with this Policy and the processing of your data, including your personal information, in the manner provided in this Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Services.


Our services are intended for those over the age of 13. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your province or state of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and that you have given your consent to allow any of your minor dependents (aged 13 to 18) to use the Services.

We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to use our Services. If you are under the age of 13, please do not send any information about yourself to us. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under the age of 13, please contact us at privacy@blueprintreality.com.

We strongly encourage parents to speak with their children about how to be smart and safe online. Parents should remind their children that they should never give someone any information without first asking their parent/guardian if it is OK. Children should also not give out or use any of the following in their username: their photo, name, email, home address, telephone number, school or any other information that could be used to contact them, either online or in the real world.


Personal information is information that can be used to uniquely identify a person. This includes, without limitation, a person’s name, email, postal addresses, phone number(s), credit card and other financial information, product interest information, opinions and individual preferences. Personal information may also include information that is automatically obtained and stored when a person visits a website; this includes, without limitation, browser information, Internet Service Provider, operating system, Internet Protocol addresses or other device identifiers, location and date/time stamp.


Blueprint Reality’s primary goals in collecting and using information is to create, provide and improve our Services. When you use Blueprint Reality’s Services, we try to only collect personal information that you volunteer to us, however, there are certain instances where the information is automatically obtained and others where the collection of information is required, for example information that we would require in order to deliver our Services to you. Blueprint Reality may collect and use information as described below.


Blueprint Reality’s Sites

While you are browsing Blueprint Reality’s Sites, certain information may be logged automatically, such information may include, but is not limited to: your computer’s operating system, Internet Protocol address, access times, browser type and language and referring Web site addresses.

If you choose to subscribe to our mailing list, participate in a contest or survey, we may also ask you to submit personal information including but not limited to: your name, profile photo, gender, age or birthday, links to your profiles on social networking websites and other third party sites, user name(s), email and mailing addresses.

Blueprint Reality Game Data Collection

Whenever you play our games, we collect data about all of your interactions with the game and with the other players inside the game via server log files. When you create and share levels using the Level Editor, some of your personal information related to your Steam account, including your username, may become available to other users. Please note that this type of disclosure is not covered under this Policy, therefore you should not to include any personal information such as your address, telephone number, financial information, in your username in the interest of safety, privacy and security. Also, if you choose to engage in any discussions or forums about the Services, you should not post or anything that might put you at risk. Blueprint Reality is not responsible for monitoring that type of disclosure of information, and Blueprint Reality is not liable for any consequences that may result from the exchange of this information in that context.

Information From Third Parties

Sometimes we collect personal information about you from third parties, such as Steam, Unity, Twitter, Facebook, or Google. We collect this information so that we can deliver Services you have requested, for example when you purchase our Services via Steam, Unity, or other Storefront; or when you communicate with us through Twitter or Facebook.


As mentioned above, in general, we use personal information collected from our Services to develop, deliver, provide, operate and improve our Services, we do this by:

creating game accounts and allowing users to play our games and use our Sites;
sending you related information, including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages;
understanding you and your preferences to enhance your experience and enjoyment using our Services;
enabling you to communicate with other users;
identifying and suggesting connections with other Blueprint Reality users or Services;
linking or combining other information we get from third parties to help understand your preferences and provide you with better services;
responding to your comments and questions and providing customer service;
mailing to your mailing address any merchandise or other physical promotional materials that we want to send to you; and
notifying you about any promotions, rewards, upcoming events, and other news about products and services.

We also may use non-personal information to help us build better products and enhance our Services as follows:

Operational Information

Some “operational” information is used by Blueprint Reality in order to provide the Services. This operational information does not include the personal information that you provide as part of your Blueprint Reality registration data, but may include: the date on which you purchased our game, how often you are using our Services, what hardware you are using, and other similar types of information. Operational information may be shared with third parties to the extent necessary to provide the Blueprint Reality Services.

Aggregate Information

We may collect and analyze information about your use of the Services as aggregated with the use of the Services by other users (“Aggregate Information”); for example, overall usage patterns of users, the total number of users, the percentage of users who are female, or in a certain age range, or who live in a particular region, etc., or the percentage of users who are also consumers of various other products and services. The collection and analysis of this Aggregate Information is important in the operation and enhancement of our Services.


We may use third-party web analytics service which may record mouse clicks, mouse movements, scrolling activity as well as any text you type on any of the Sites. Blueprint Reality may use the information described in this paragraph for improving overall usability, determining the success of new features, identifying areas for potential new features and other improvements, testing design changes, and/or other business and marketing purposes.

The goal of us collecting and using information that you provide to us, both personal and non-personal, is to provide, learn about and optimize our Services. However, it is important to note that since non-personal information, like Aggregate Information, does not include any information that can be used to individually identify you or any other Blueprint Reality user, it is not possible for any third-party receiving any kind of non-personal information to identify or contact you.


Blueprint Reality does not share your personal information except as approved by you or as described below:

we would release your information as permitted by law or when we believe that release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our rights; or protect the rights, property, or safety of us or our users, or others.
We may share your information in connection with any merger, sale of our assets, or a financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company;
we sometimes may engage other companies and individuals to perform services on our behalf; and
with your consent, for example, when you agree to our sharing your information with other third parties for their own marketing purposes, subject to their separate privacy policies.


When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction like purchasing our game, we engage in business activity and imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing through our newsletter, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no or to unsubscribe.


Blueprint Reality is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Although we make good faith efforts to store the information collected through our Services in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information during its transmission or its storage on our systems. Further, while we attempt to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party “hackers” from illegally obtaining access to this information. We do not warrant or represent that your information will be protected against, loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties, nor do we represent or warrant that the information or material, including the downloadable software, accessed from or through the Services will be uninterrupted or free of errors, defects, or other harmful components, or we will attempt to resolve any such problems however, we will not be held responsible in the event of damages or malfunction.

We may transfer information that we collect about you to affiliated entities, or to other third parties across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from Canadian law, please note that you are transferring information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction, and you consent to the transfer of information to Canada and the use and disclosure of information about you, including personal information, as described in this Policy. Personal information collected by Blueprint Reality may be stored and processed in Canada, the United States or any other country in which Blueprint Reality or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or agents maintain facilities. By using the Blueprint Reality Service, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.


A cookie is a small text file that is transferred to a computer and/or device, to identify a user’s computer/device and to “remember” things about their visit, such as preferences or a username and password. Information contained in a cookie may be linked to your personal information for purposes such as improving the quality of our Services, tailoring recommendations to your interests, and making the Services easier to use. You can disable cookies at any time, although doing so may result in you losing access or use of certain features of the Services.


Please note that the scope of this Policy is limited to information collected or received by Blueprint Reality through your use of the Services. Blueprint Reality is not responsible for the actions of third party people or companies, the content of their sites or services, the use of information you provide to them, or any products or services they may offer. Moreover, there may be links to third parties on our Sites which may direct you away from our site. Any link to any third party site does not constitute our sponsorship of, or affiliation with, those people or companies, and we strongly encourage you to read their privacy statements as we are not responsible for the privacy practices.


When you use your mobile device to access our Sites, we may receive information about your location and your mobile device, including a unique identifier for your device. We may use and store this information to provide you with location based services, search results, and other personalized content and services. Most mobile devices allow you to control or disable location services in the device’s ‘Settings’ menu, please note that turning off location services may result in you losing access to certain features and Services.


We will keep your personal information only as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or such longer period as may be required by applicable law.


You can request information about, update or make changes to the information that we may have related to you at any time by contacting us at privacy@blueprintreality.com. You may also opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the instructions in those emails. If you opt-out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as emails about your accounts or our ongoing business relations.


This policy is current as of its last revision date, however, we reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time. If we do amend this Policy, we will post those changes on this page and update the date at the top of the page. The changes will be effective when posted. Please check this page on a regular basis so that you remain aware of what information we collect and how we use it.
